The 17-4HC clamp has a 15 ft. cable and a ¼-20 size mounting hole. It can be attached to Jamesons Inductive Clamp Modifyer (IHA-2) and mounted to a fiberglass pole. Use with transmitter to apply signal to cables when direct connection is not possible. This enables the utilizer to extend the reach of the clamp into manholes or overhead, eliminating the need to exhaust a manhole or climb a ladder. This saves time and improves safety. The Inductive Clamp Modifyer and other poles fitted with this adapter are existing products.
