Our Poplar design is our take on the classic Victorian beehive knob.

We’ve streamlined things, giving it a flatter knob and, in this case, a low-profile, long backplate that’s designed for use with a Euro cylinder lock. It’ll work well in period properties with a contemporary edge, or by bringing a traditional touch to new builds.

The knob is sprung, which means you don’t need to rely on the latch’s spring for its movement. We’ve opted for a light spring, so it takes highly little effort to turn.

There’s also no danger of it coming away in your hand – we’ve engineered the backplate and knob to be inseparable.

Polished nickel is our answer to chrome. It’s a bit warmer, which we think is more versatile, so you can use it with insulated or cool colour palettes.
